Battle Born Venture

Battle Born Venture is Nevada’s state-sponsored venture capital program focused on early-stage investing in high-growth companies headquartered in Nevada. It makes equity and equity-like investments alongside professional venture capital partners, generally participating in rounds from approximately $200 k up to $20 m, with individual company caps. The program targets startups with recurring revenue or research-affiliated ventures that meet state mandate criteria and holds eligibility requirements tied to Nevada business licensing. It co-invests without leading rounds and is sector-agnostic with specified exclusions such as gambling and firearms. Battle Born Venture was established in 2013 to support entrepreneur retention and ecosystem development within the state.
