Dakota Resources

Dakota Resources is a Renner, South Dakota–based nonprofit 501(c)(3) Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) founded in 1996 that connects capital and capacity to empower rural communities through financial products, leadership development, and network-building programs. It provides flexible, low-cost community development loans and related services to rural economic development organizations, housing authorities, and CDFIs, aiming to strengthen local financial infrastructure and project implementation. Beyond lending, Dakota Resources delivers capacity-building initiatives such as community coaching, a learning network, and events to support leadership and economic development in small towns and underserved rural regions.
