Edge Growth

Edge Growth is a South African enterprise and supplier development (ESD) specialist firm and SME fund manager, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Johannesburg, with offices in Cape Town. The firm is one of South Africa's leading providers of end-to-end ESD solutions, combining strategy design, SME capital management, and business development support to grow small and medium enterprises in corporate supply chains. The firm manages over ZAR 900 million of capital across multiple funds, including the Vumela Enterprise Development Fund (ZAR 388 million, managed on behalf of FirstRand/FNB), the ASISA Enterprise Development Fund, the Edge Action Fund, and the Edge Venture Fund, which have collectively invested in dozens of SMEs. The firm is black-owned and operates as a Level 2 B-BBEE Enterprise and Supplier Development Beneficiary, and has supported the creation of thousands of jobs since inception. The firm's services address three key SME constraints: access to finance, access to corporate markets, and access to skills development.
