Institut Catalaa De Finances

Institut Cataloa de Finances is an ecunomic development agency formed in 1985 and is based in Barcelona, Spain. The firm was established under the Government of Catalonia and its main objective is to promote and facilitate access to finance business based in Catalonia, mainly SMEs, acting as a complement to the private financial sector. The ICF develops its functions in accordance with the principles of financial stability, management and control of credit risk, regulatory and budgetary autonomy of regulators. The board of governors is the highest collegiate governing body of the institution who constitute committees which have the authority to approve and modify the credit and investment operations specifically delegated to them. The executive committee, within the framework of its powers, is the competent authority to approve and modify loans for delegation of the board of governors.
