Intersouth Partners

Intersouth Partners is a Durham, North Carolina–based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 1985 that historically invested in technology and life science companies across the Southeastern United States. The firm managed multiple venture capital partnerships totaling several hundred million dollars in committed capital and backed more than 100 private companies in sectors such as software, semiconductors, medical devices, biotech and related technologies. It typically participated in seed and early institutional rounds, partnering with founders and management teams to support commercialization and growth. Intersouth developed a regional focus spanning from the Research Triangle through the Southeast corridor and became one of the largest venture funds in North Carolina. The firm has a legacy of venture investing but is not currently deploying new capital.
