Mine Superannuation Fund is a multi-employer corporate pension fund based in Newcastle, Australia. The pension fund was established in 1941 after a merger between the Coalsuper Retirement Income Fund (COALSUPER) and the Queensland Coal and Oil Shale Mining Industry Superannuation Fund (QCOS). Prior to 1 July 2015, Mine Wealth and Wellbeing was known as AUSCOAL Super. The assets of the pension fund are managed by the board of directors. The trustee board is made up of nine Directors which are employer and member nominated representatives in equal numbers and one Independent Director.
