Truth Initiative

Truth Initiative is an independent non-profit foundation based in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in 1998, the foundation is dedicated to making tobacco use a thing of the past by speaking, seeking and spreading the truth about tobacco through education, tobacco-control research and policy studies, community activism and engagement and innovation in tobacco dependence treatment. The assets of the foundation are managed by the board of directors.Truth Initiative's investment portfolio is valued at $959.90 million, with investments in domestic and international equity, fixed income, private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and cash.
