University of New Hampshire Foundation manages an endowment fund which is based in Durham, New Hampshire. The UNH Foundation was established in 1989 to build private support for the University of New Hampshire. The purpose of the foundation is to coordinate the acquisition of private support, with particular emphasis on building endowment, for the benefit of the University of New Hampshire. Gifts are solicited from alumni, friends, corporations, private and public foundations, and volunteer-support organizations. The assets of the foundation are managed and administered under the leadership of the Board of Directors.University of New Hampshire Endowment's investment portfolio is valued at over $241 million, with investments in domestic and international equities, hedge funds, fixed income, private equity, cash, public, and private real assets and other investments.
