Anderson Thees

Anderson Thees is a Co-Founder and serves as Partner at Redpoint eventures. Thees serves as Partner, Sao Paulo at Infinity Venture Partners. Previously, he was CEO at Apontador, a leading local search and Geolocation company in Brazil. Prior to Apontador, he was the Investment Principal of Naspers/MIH in charge of Latin American, where he started Naspers Internet presence and invested in leading companies, such as BuscaPe and Movile. Before that, he was an investment officer at Eccelera, a local venture capital fund. Earlier in his career, he worked as a tech entrepreneur and software developer both in Brazil and Switzerland. He is also a Venture Corp volunteer mentor at Endeavor since 2003 and board member at BayBrazil, Linte, Magnetis, Minuto Seguros, Minutrade, and Nibo. He earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Unicamp, an M.B.A. from Yale, and an S.E.P. from Stanford.
