David Swinghamer

David Swinghamer serves as Operating Partner at Stripes Group. He is an Angel Investor. He focuses on Stripes Group consumer opportunities, with particular interest in growing select restaurant, food and beverage, and retail businesses. Additionally, David is a Retail Development Consultant for Boston Properties (NYSE:BXP) and sits on the Board of FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures). Recently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Development Officer of Shake Shack (NYSE:SHAK), David was instrumental in its growth from a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park to a multi-national burger company with over 60 locations. During his 17 years as a founding partner of Union Square Hospitality Group, David's roles included serving as President of Growth Businesses, focusing on building Shake Shack, Blue Smoke and Union Square Events, and earlier led the design and development of USHG fine-dining restaurants in addition to being its CFO. Prior to USHG, David spent 11 years as Vice President and Partner of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, a leading multi-concept restaurant company based in Chicago. During this time, he also served as Senior Vice President and CFO for Maggiano's, Corner Bakery and Macaroni Grill for Brinker International (NYSE:EAT).
