Douglas Bergeron

Douglas Bergeron is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at Opus Global. He is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of DGB Investments. He previously served as a Board Member at Alacra. He also served as the Chief executive Officer at Opus Global. He also serves as Managing Partner at Opus Global. Bergeron is a 23-year financial technology industry veteran. In 2001, he led the acquisition of VeriFone from Hewlett-Packard in a transaction valued at $50M. In 2002, GTCR partnered with him and embarked upon a strategy to aggressively grow VeriFone into a multinational company. From 1990 through 1999, he served in a number of executive management positions at SunGard Data Systems, including Managing Director of SunGard Capital Markets N.A., President of SunGard Futures Systems, and Group CEO of SunGard Brokerage Systems Group. He is also an Angel Investor. He served as Executive Chairman at Hiperos.
