Hanno Renner

Hanno Renner is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Personio. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science from Fachhochschule Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences, Business and Design and a MS in Technology and Management from Technical University of Munich. After working as a skipper on sailing yachts for several years, Hanno decided to become the captain of a startup. He led the Sales and HR team until Personio had 500 clients and 85 employees. Then he gave the rudder to his experienced colleagues Martina, Head of HR, and Oliver, VP Sales. Now, Hanno is focusing on keeping Personio on its growth path and aligning the team with our strategic vision. He is also the contact person for investors and external stakeholders. Hanno studied at Columbia University in New York and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Technology Management from the Technical University of Munich and the Center for Digital Technology & Management (CDTM).
