Hillary Riggs

Hillary Riggs is a Co-Founder of Knowm and also serves as its Chief Administrative Officer. She is an artist, business woman and entrepreneur. In 1981 Riggs and late husband Graham Nugent started Sombraje, a company manufacturing innovative twig shutters and hand crafted furniture. Soon they established a gallery in Santa Fe and a national market. In 1990 Riggs assumed control of Sombraje, and in 1995 successfully sold the company. She immediately started Quimera, manufacturing high-end one-of-a-kind art furniture. In 2001 Hillary became angel investor and founding partner of KnowmTech, an IP holding company for Knowm technology. Hillary has been instrumental in building the company infrastructure for Knowmtech and M. Alexander Nugent Consulting (MANC), a government SBIR/STTR research company focused on commercialization of Knowm technology. In 2012 when MANC was awarded an STTR PH2 contract, Hillary assumed the role of CAO at MANC. As CAO of the newly formed Knowm Inc. Hillary will turn her attention to Investor relations, product development and marketing.
