Jay Markley

Jay Markley serves as Board Member at Charter Communications. He is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at New Amsterdam Growth Capital. He is an Angel Investor. He serves as Advisor at ICX Media and also serves as Board Member at BetterCloud. He has more than twenty years of industry experience beginning in 1994 at the Federal Communications Commission, where he established wireless industry policy for the first spectrum auctions. Jay left the FCC in 1996 and joined Columbia Capital where he applied his industry expertise to principal investing. He served in various capacities at Columbia for twelve years, including as a partner, venture partner and portfolio company executive. In the past five years he has participated in the development of three sector-leading companies as a Board Member and investor. Jay currently serves as Chairman of the Board of BroadSoft (NASDAQ:BSFT), a leading communications software vendor, and was previously an independent board member of Millennial Media (NYSE:MM), the largest independent mobile advertising platform.
