Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson serves as Chief Executive Officer at CoreCommerce. He also serves as Board Member at The Gardner School. He has led the Sales and Marketing at Fleet One. During his tenure, the company has launched the marketing organization, rebranded the company and its products. Private label fleet card programs have grown tenfold, the company's gallons sold per month have doubled, an inside telesales group has been established and our merchant locations have doubled. Prior to joining he company he was VP of Sales for Oasis Technology, Ltd, which developed and licensed payment software for the banking and transaction processing industry. Prior to Oasis Technology, Ltd. he was Manager for the Southeast Region of Harmonic Systems, which was acquired by Alliance Data Syste Thompson has also served as VP of Sales for National Processing Company (NPC), and National Account Executive of First Data Corporation (formerly NaBanco). His career began with Unisys Corporation, specializing in large systems sales to the government market. Thompson earned his BA from Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee in 1986. He is also an Angel Investor.
