Mohamed Hamdy serves as Head, Investments at Dubai Future Foundation. He is also an Angel Investor. Prior to this role, Mohamed advised British Petroleum Ventures and Masdar on setting up the first startup accelerator focused on sustainability in the MENA region. He was also the founding Managing Director of the 'Turn8 Accelerator' based out of Dubai, and helped design and build several corporate accelerators in the MENA region. Mohamed started his career in private equity where he was investment director for a family Office in Abu Dhabi for 7 years, primarily managing portfolio and sourcing investment opportunities in diverse industries across the MENA region and Europe. Mohamed was also the founder and general manager of Tadawul, an online stock brokerage company based in Abu Dhabi in 2006.
