Paolo Merloni

Paolo Merloni serves as Executive Chairman at Ariston Thermo Group. He is an Angel Investor. He is also Chief Executive Officer of Merloni Holding. Furthermore, he is a member of the General Council of Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry), of the Executive Council of EHI (Association of the European Heating Industry) and of the Steering Committee of CECED Europe (European Committee of Domestic Equipment Manufacturers). He began his career with McKinsey & Company in Madrid and moved afterwards to the Milan office. In 1995 he joined Ariston Thermo, where he covered several key positions as Director of Central and East Europe, Director of Italy and lately as Director of the Heating System Division. He was appointed Deputy Chairman in 2000 and CEO of Ariston Thermo in 2004. Paolo Merloni graduated in 1992 magna cum laude from the Bocconi University of Milan, with a degree in Business Administration.
