Rickard Gardell

Rickard Gardell is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director & Operating Committee Member at Pacific Equity Partners. He is a founder of PEP and his portfolio company board involvement includes A&R Whitcoulls, Link Market Services, Tegel Foods, Griffin's Foods, AAS, Independent Liquor and Hoyts Group. Prior to founding PEP, Rickard was a Director of Bain & Company. He has fourteen years of consulting experience in Europe, Asia and Australasia. Rickard has been advising CEOs and management on issues relating to strategy, M&A and operating improvements in Australasia since 1987. He has also held various responsibilities within Bain & Company's Australian and global organization, including local practice head of private equity due diligence, consumer products, utilities, leisure and entertainment and corporate strategy. Rickard received a BSc from the Stockholm School of Economics where he was awarded Carl Liljevalchs Scholar and an IMP Scholar attending McGill University Graduate School of Management.
