Sandler Capital, a Registered Investment Advisor, manages both hedge funds and private equity funds with a multi-sector focus in media, entertainment/ leisure, telecommunications, technology, information and business services, and consumer companies. Through its various on-shore and offshore funds, Sandler currently manages approximately $1.3 billion in assets. Although focused in equities, over its 28 year history Sandler has sought opportunities across the capital structure via investments in a variety of debt and equity instruments. Sandler has raised five funds with commitments totaling more than $1.6 billion, including its most recent fund, Sandler Capital Partners V, a $700 million private equity partnership. To date, Sandler has invested approximately $1.6 billion globally in more than 167 private companies. The firm makes majority as well as minority investments in companies that are typically cash flow positive. Within its areas of industry expertise, Sandler's target investment size ranges from $5 million to $60 million.
