Dr. Yair Tauman serves as Academic Director at Zell center for Entrepreneurship. He is the dean of the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship and a former dean of the Arison School of Business at IDC Herzliya. He is a leading Professor of Economics at the Stony Brook University and has been the Director of Stony Brook Center for Game Theory since 1996. He studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics (with distinction), M.Sc. (with distinction) and Ph.D. in Mathematics. The latter two under the supervision of Professor Robert Aumann, a 2005 Nobel Laureate. His research interests includes game theory, auctions, patents and innovations and industrial organization. He has been published in Econometrica, Games and Economic Behavior, the Journal of Economic Theory, the Quarterly Journal of Economics and the RAND Journal of Economics. Professor Tauman has been the organizer of the longest and most established series of International Summer Conferences in Game Theory (for 26 years).
